Today is Saturday. We arrived back from the hotel and were really impressed with speakers such as Heidi and Roland Baker. There was also a healing evangelist on Friday night (Tracey Armstrong) and he was quite powerful. There were many testimonies of healing that occurred that night.
We've come away ready for another Sunday of full events at Bethel church.

PERSONAL REFLECTION TO FATHER GOD:
Father, last night at the evening meeting I was getting prayed for with a great deal of love and compassion expressed especially by Nick during worship time. Then later that night a 'word of knowledge' came from a guy called Peter and it was that someone had numbness on the left side of the face probably as a result of a stroke. Even though he prayed for me for quite some time as did the healing evangelist who was speaking that night; despite this and despite the word of knowledge, I did not get healed. I really don't understand these things. And it does frustrate me but I choose to continue to believe in You as I am more and more of the definite view that you are good and therefore you do want to heal me. The question is how long will it take rather than if it is going to happen. I guess the difficult question that arises in my mind is why does it have to take so long? I hear so many testimonies from people who pray for me including Nick last night whose father had a stroke and who was healed (the father was a very nominal type Christian) and was healed through a dream of seeing you on the cross. I think Peter who also prayed for me last night, himself suffered a minor stroke and indicated that he was healed and within a fairly short time. People who pray for me often share testimonies of people having had a stroke and having been healed. So Lord, these testimonies certainly solidify my faith and confidence that you will bring about healing for me but I still find it frustrating and difficult to understand why it is not sooner rather than later?
Help me Lord to keep my focus and not become offended in you because it's not working according to the timetable that I have in my head. I continue to trust you and thank you that the healing is on its way. In the meantime there is no question that you are bringing about changes in my spirit man that will have a dramatic effect upon my life and future ministry. These things I am so grateful for. Please continue to change me as you see fit. I am yours and will follow you and serve you all the days of my life.
