Monday evening we went to the prayer meeting put on by 'Jesus culture' which was broadcast live via simulcast around the world. Once again, praying did not involve gathering in groups or praying one-on-one but revolved around worship with the leader, Banning directing how we were to pray; with your prayers focusing on revival for a generation with a major revival event happening in June in Chicago. The prayer time was not a matter of sitting around and petitioning the Lord. The method of prayer was one on declaring victory over the enemy and a release for the bondage that is up on a generation. Everything is done so differently here and it creates an entirely different church culture. We are learning a lot about why Bethel are having so much success in the spiritual realm.
As a personal aside, Carole, for the first time today drove from our home to Redding. It was a little unnerving for her but she did extremely well. But, for me the frustration is that I get a little anxious because I recognise that if something goes wrong then I don't have the capacity (until I'm healedl) to help or do anything to resolve any issue. This has a negative impact on the way I feel .
We met someone today out of the blue who asked to pray for us and he did in a way that was quite different to what we experience normally. He mentioned that we all, as God's children 'host' His presence and therefore prayed that we would experience God's presence. He didn't specifically pray for anything else but His presence. It was very refreshing and God did move upon both Carole and me.
As I write this, we I have just returned from having a guest visit to the Bethel school of ministry for Year2 students. Fortunately for us, Bill Johnson was speaking and also had the students, including us circle the auditorium body while he roamed around and prayed a blessing and impartation on each person. He prayed for us too it felt very special to be there. We also have the opportunity of having a second day tomorrow. Unfortunately this is the last day of college for the students as they graduate this coming weekend, so there won't be any further opportunity for us to visit and attend the school. So we will make use of the two days that we have!
Again blessings and may the favour of Jesus be on you

Rod Oh guys that sounds so so so so so good. I really bellieve that the "pictures" we gave you on your last Home group with us represented His presence. The beautiful forest, the perfume, the waterfall and flowers were all about HIM. Drink in as much as you can. Love you. Rod
