Today we meet John Sturgess who is one of the Bethel church leaders overseeing Year1 students at the Bethel Supernatural School of Ministry (BSSM)
We then travel to Vacaville and a Church called 'The Mission' where Heidi Baker is speaking. This is also the church that Graham Cooke attends being near Sacramento. It is roughly 2 hours south from Redding and although Carole is a little daunted, she is ready to take the trip and we're really looking forward to it.
We heard Heidi Baker speak last night. Although she's not a great expositor of the word, There is no question that she's able to carry the Presence. The presence of God was so strong over the whole meeting that it was tangible. She had many words of knowledge with peoples names called out as well as the type of sickness. The Lord's presence was there to heal.
The next morning Roland Baker spoke and he to was quite amazing in that he brought the presence of God in such a way that many people were touched by God with great expressions of joy in the Spirit.
Both Heidi and Rolland gave great testimonies of what God has been doing. Heidi spoke about the joy of seeing a young 10 -year-old child who was born blind and unable to walk When Heidi was praying for her she had white substance covering her eyes. During prayer Heidi witnessed her eyes literally turning brown and she was able both bed see and walk which is something which she was not able to do before prayer. She also spoke of how God only the previous Saturday had increased the amount of food so that 500 people were fed with a ration that was only likely to feed several people.
Rolland spoke about being in a meeting with new converts in Mozambique and he asked how many people there had raised the dead. A total of seven hands shot up He then emphasized that these were fairly new converts and that to date there have been somewhere between 200 and 500 people raised from the dead in the churches they oversee.
These are unbelievable people. The ministry is known as IRIS ministries. They have over 10,000 churches that they oversee. What an incredible ministry.
