Marvelous weather, great scenery, friendly people. Again a nice day is about to end.
Okay - I admit. This is only the half of truth. I got terribly lost today and walked for 8h instead of 5 1/2.
But now I learned how to follow the path the right way. I often get tempted when I see a different- more descent looking trail.
Actually the signing of the GR10 is really nicely done. They even mark the wrong directions. Unfortunately not always.
So anyway I saw many horses and sheep today, walked through dense, swampy woods with very old oak trees and all day I saw the famous mountain "la Rhume" (=the sniffles") which is on all postcards of the region (I am in a touristy village now-I just saw them) because it is the highest of the area (exactly 900m) and a train goes up there. Actually it's more sort of a hill.

Daimon Okay. I think maybe I should join you for a while. Remember, just hold your compass and head East when in doubt.
zaphod + fee Was ist Parche?
Anca I am at home today with "la rhume", a cold, thus will not go to work. Time to dedicate to nice activities that I can do while in bed, like reading your blog... Must be scary to get lost, alone in the woods. Wish I were there with you for a while.
zaphod Schön... schön... das Du richtige Wanderkarten dabei hast... ist echt beruhigend ... selbst jetzt wo Du wieder sicher zuhause in Deinem Bett liegst...in Berlin ... könnte ich mir die Haare raufen....
