Tag 1)

Today I had a nice stroll along the French-Spanish border. Its Basque-Country here and they have a strange language using lots of "x" in their words, which looks somehow Mayan-Mexican to me.
However, all people I met spoke French-and I realized that myFrench somehow disappeared to most parts. (My dearLausanne friends- it is a shame. Why haven't we practiced more?).
Anyway, everything is as it should be. The weather is good, the landscape pretty, the back hurts, the beds are soft, and I am very relaxed already at day 1.
On the picture you can see the starting point of the trail- theCasino of Hendaye. It is at elevation 0.
