Today Gadi left early to take the car to Ford to check on the problems with the aircon, and also visit the caravan yard to have the electrics fitted to the car.
He also managed to fit in a much needed haircut and a massage, thanks to having the use of a loan car for a couple of hours.
Meanwhile I enjoyed a day with Cadbury at home, cleaning out some of our bags, doing a load of washing, and (shock horror) relaxing, which was lovely.
Cadbury and I visited the small park opposite, which used to be a biscuit factory, and has now been turned into funky Freo apartments. What's lovely is that they have retained the front facade of the building, with communal parkland just behind in what would have been the main interior of the factory. The house our friends live in was actually the original boiler house for the factory, and it has an underground cellar, which housed a tunnel that used to go from the boiler house, across the road to the factory.
Cooked chicken and veg for dinner, and made a frittata so we have something for a quick breakfast tomorrow.
Enjoyed reminiscing in the evening about our shared experiences on a kibbutz in Israel many years back in 1990. It brought back some great memories and we laughed about our many adventures.
Time to hit the sack and get ready for tomorrow as it will be a long day - first more work on the car, then handover of our new caravan and we hope to also pick up the contents of our old caravan stored at the freight place.
Wow, hard to believe it's almost two weeks since our accident, and we are now very close to finally having our own little home again.
Good night from Freo - tomorrow we will be campers once more!
