Election Day here in Australia and we need to go to Kalbarri to vote. We spent some time on the foreshore chilling out reading our first newspaper in months, with a great view of the mouth of the river and ocean in front of us.
Unfortunately, on the way out of town, I got pulled up by the cops for speeding in what was still a 50 zone. Luckily, in WA the minimum $100 fine does not include any points.
Drove carefully the rest of the way back to our campsite along the gorgeous coast line of rocky cliffs and wild seas.
Gadi and Cadbury went for a walk to the beach and I checked out more of the history and relics on Lynton Station, including the little cemetery, before heading back to sit around the fire for the evening with the other campers.
Tomorrow we leave here to continue heading south.
Night night xx
