What a week it's been! After 28hours in the air and arriving at Manchester Airport and meeting up with Ryan and the lovely Clare we headed straight to pick up new motorhome. Our excitement was quickly dampened by the news that our motorhome was still in the factory some 150miles away but worse than that the registration process had yet to start and that normally takes 2 weeks! We were offered and accepted the use of a new Auto Sleeper Panel van conversion.
So off we go with the next job to purchase all the gear to put inside it. It was getting late so got the essentials and headed to Ryan and Clare's to meet the kids. What a lovely warm welcome we got and we sat around eating Chinese takeaways until we started to flag and headed off to a place we stayed at last trip 3 years ago.
It was 9.30pm and raining when we pulled in at the Esholt cricket ground campsite and we managed to raise the caretaker to ask if we could stay realising suddenly that we had no cash on us at all! He was wonderful tho and told us to make ourselves at home which we did. And just to complete the day when making up our bed we discovered we had everything we needed except the duvet inner to put in the nice duvet set we had bought!! So a very late night trip to find a 24 hr Asda and buy an inner and get back to our site. We were soooo tired by this stage I don't think we could have driven another mile. Finally into bed by 11.30pm.
It was about 10
