Honey, honey, honey . . .
7am we all got given our certificates and spiritual names, given a pot of honey (yummy to dip my bananas in, I have such a sweet tooth since India I add sugar and honey to everything, it's terrible but tastes so good) and got dotted, I always forget when I get dotted and smear it all over me head,

Moonlight, well night is normally death and since I'm a fast paced psychologically issued person I suppose I'm getting to my ultimate goal of death quicker than the regular folk. Or so that's how the philosophy goes, Sivadas may have had an alternative reason, I'll ask google. Other people have said it's a good name, meaning adding the silver lining to everything, no matter what, the moonlight makes everything beautiful.
Jumped in a jeep straight to Dharamsala bus station as the hundreds of people starting crowding in to make way to the temple to see the dalai lamas speech at 9am. I was the only one running away from it all, rather amusing, but it's a glorious day and I need to move on. Plus the chai is only 4rs at the station compared to 10rs in mcleod, what better reason can there be to hang out at the station.
Excitement just overwhelms me as I'm off. Sitting drinking chai with the locals all staring at me, at least down here it's not a constant photoshoot.
The last three days the weather has been good, bring on the skin cancer, burn baby burn.
100rs to Pathonkot., then 62rs followed by 40rs and 4 buses later I arrived in Amristar. the Punjabies are much more reckless drivers, speeding over bumps and big ditches in the road, for 6hours I was getting lifted outta my chair by a foot, and generally chucked all over, I don't have the knack. Everyone else was sitting fine, and there was me clinging on to everything getting battered to pieces, it was good fun, the ticket guy just watched laughing at me the whole time, silly little white girl.
Went to the golden temple, I was the only white person, everyone just stared, but it was nice, wandering around bare foot. All the guys were washing themselves in the water, when you go inside the temple you drink the water, people were scooping it up giving it to their babies. I made the sensible decision with my recent parasite history to give the 'holy water' a miss.
My father will be proud of how stingy I've been with the rickshaws, I got it down from 50 to 10rs, ridiculous! (Well done daughter !!! - Dad)
Stumbled across an amazing hotel (the grand hotel) opposite the train station, it's on the main road and the restaurant has a cool garden so I chilled on the swingy chair reading, if I weren't still on meds I woulda had a beer in the bar next door. Seems to be the tourist place to stay. xx
