The sun has got his hat on . . .
I met with Carol-Anne and Sandra for brekkie at Gakyi, I've been there a few times the food is good. It was goodbye to Carol-Anne as she flies home today, It's weird talking to people who are excited about going home, as it gets me excited which is just utter ridiculous as so much is to happen between now and then.
I jumped on the 10rupee bus to Dharamsala, feel like a local getting all these local buses, and got the 20rupee bus to Kangra valley, an hour drive away. The ticket guy musta been a pro hockler, literally every two minutes, then a 4rupee bus to the old fort. Round here it is beautiful, no tourists either, which I liked knowing I was going back to a tourist place. Everyone just stared at me, I think they wondered why I was getting the bus instead of an auto rickshaw. On the street they just mustn't get tourists very often.
It was scalding hot. I decided to get mangos, I bought 1kg for 40rupees as I don't think you can get less, that's 9 mangos, just no need, I hadn't enough room in my bag so I had to eat 3. I tried to give them to people on the bus back. Not a single soul wanted any, I mustn't be trusted.
Returning back into Dharamsala I learnt some hindi on the bus and it's strange, like returning home, back to my familiar surroundings. Back to the rain of course, which is like real home.
Sat chatting to Mimi in peace cafe, her friend Bradie had been to the hospital, she hadn't had a poo for 10days, they gave her some syrup, which as far as I'm aware hasn't worked yet.
Met the girlies for tea they all leave tomorrow either home or off travelling. They are like a little family spending an intense month together.
I watched a wicked thunder storm in the distance, every time the lightening strikes the sky looks amazing. I attempted photos but failed miserably. xx
