Friday 21st November 2008 Today we didn't do that much except go to the cinema to see Bolt in 3D with James. The film was really good and we highly recommend going to see it in 3D as we looked really cool with our 3D glasses on! We went to the cinema, which is in the Westfield Mall shopping centre. Wednesday 19th November 2008 During our last few days we've just been chilling out after our hardcore sightseeing. Today we just went to Safeway to get all the coins we've accumulated changed into proper money using one of those machines that counts it for you. Today we went to San Francisco Zoo, which is quite far away compared to all the other attractions we have visited. But the transport system here is pretty good so places are easy to get to once you work it out! We had to get the L-Line, which we previously thought was a normal streetcar (like the F-Line) but it actually runs underground along Market Street, hence why it never showed up when we tried to catch it when we needed to get to Twin Peaks! The California Academy of Sciences is a place that everyone has been talking about as it only reopened this year after extensive renovation to the tune of $500 million (gasp!) and it is certainly impressive. It's located in Golden Gate Park opposite the de Young Museum and because we chose to go early on a weekday there were no queues so we just walked straight in with our CityPasses.
