I am EXTREMELY busy at work. Its lunchtime and I haven't even had a DROP of coffee over my poor dry lips. My stomach is going "what the..?" cause it usually gets spoilt with lemon-cake in the mornings... Oh well. Its now half way through my lunch and I thought that I had to just update you on the latest.
First, I have to transport you back to Sushi Night with Brent and Dave. See, the thing is, its all Brent and Dave's fault (none of my own doing, of course). Brent was the one that ordered the wine and Dave was the blondie who arrived on his super-amazing-cool bike and couldn't drink. I mean, you order a bottle of wine (or two) then you have to finish it. Duh. So the point of my story is, I cant remember whether I like sushi or not! (But the wine was great). Point being: Michelle and Chantal would have to take me sushi tasting again. To Brent and Dave: I had a fabulous evening!
After my mail last week, so many of you mailed me back to say "but I have a pet name for you too!!". Hehe, I felt very loved and feel very privileged to have so many AWESOME FRIENDS!! (Although Deon had to spoil my moment by emailing me saying I'm his bra-girl. *Sigh* Ok, so maybe a few years ago I forgot to put on a bra to work (What the..?! Yes people, I did actually forget). In a frenzy I emailed Deon (who worked with me at the time - and thank goodness on another floor) and now every opportunity he has, he loves to remind me of my terribly embarrassingly-blonde day with"I still have that mail".). I love you too Deon. (I can just see the horror on my dad's face. Its not like I did it on purpose. At least I didn't leave the house in my slippers. Ok, so I nearly did that this morning, but I realised luckily just as I stepped out my front door. Phew!).
Friday night was rather fab: went for dinner (TO BUSABA!!! YAY!! MY FAVOURITE) with Nic and Jinnie. Afterwards we met up with some friends at Sketch (very posh! Its like a restaurant/posh-pub) and danced the night away. (For the Londoners if you haven't been there: it's a MUST. Ok, so you pay £14 for a cocktail, but the place is faaantastic. The loos are eggs! I mean, its like... no there's no other way to explain it other than: its an egg. Super cool! And they also play funny sounds in the loos - like sheep bleating and pigs grunting (?!). A bit weird, but Jinnie and I had a good giggle!). So after eating Majors Chicken at 3:30 on Saturday morning (and reminiscing about how GOOD it is!?!?) I had to get up 3 hours later to meet Marcos to go to BRIGHTON!!!
We arrived bright 'n early (get it? GET IT?! Bright'n early.. oh whatever) in ... maybe I should start a new mail cause my lunch is finished and I have a whole truckload of work to do, so you would have to wait to hear the weekend update later. Come everybody all together: "aaawww".
