*Picking up my pen and tapping my glass*..... Please people calm down, i know you're very upset that you haven't heard from me in a while, but it wasn't necessary to create such a riot!! Sometimes life just grabs you by the balls and runs away with you and before you know it.... TWO WEEKS HAVE GONE BY.... The last couple of days have been quite a rollercoaster with birthdays and farewells and me being sick. Again. For the THIRD time this year *roll eyes*. I had Pharyngitis. Its like Tonsilitis, but without the tonsils. (Oh how my Dr. friend would laugh at that description..!!). And i'm sad to report that Marcos is now officially sick too (eek!). I hope he's better by Saturday tho, cause we're going to Bath!!!! (Michelle thats a little dorpie, not like a bath-bath as in "taking a bath"). We only decided on Tuesday that we wanted to go away, so we've booked a car for the weekend, but then we couldn't find accommodation!! Between the two of us we must've mailed about 30 places and they were all fully booked. Finally a B&B called as they had a cancellation. But the reason Bath is so busy, is because there's so many things happening there this weekend....Chocolate Festival, Christmas Market, etc. etc. I cant wait!!! Its also amazing how you can just feel Christmas is around the corner! Everything is decorated in red and green, christmas lights everywhere... christmas trees, the shops have sales ... there is such an electric vibe in the air! Like something really exciting is gonna happen!

I just popped out for lunch and the wind is really hectic!! I swear if i jumped really high, i would actually go flying!! It was also raining this morning, but it luckily cleared up. Man! It rains everyday!! I also had my first experience this morning of walking and just barely missing a big splash from a car.... :-)

I have a few people to mention in my mail today: 1. Happy Birthday to Elsa for last Sunday!! Really wish i was there to share your special day!! 2. Congratulations to Mareli who bought her first place - and moved last weekend!! 3. My very friendly nephew who was christened last Sunday! He's now officially Zander. 4. My oldest friend Smittie (aka Bollie, aka Chicken Licken Lene... or was that me?!) happy birthday for yesterday! I was thinking of you the WHOLE DAY! (partly because i had a reminder on my e-mail going off on the hour to remind me.....). Sitting in the diskus sirkel eating oranges will always bring back good memories....!!!

Other than that, hopefully after this coming weekend i'll have more exciting news to share! I wish you all a lovely weekend! (ok, i know we still have to go through Friday, but Mel lives in NZ and she's already half-way through Friday, so by the time she reads this, her weekend starts tomorrow!! *frowning* ...erm....something like that!)
