Okay it's time for one of my marathon updates. I will postdate the different entries based on what day I was in the city. I'll include what I did in Leipzig here. Here's a quick overview of where I was: Saturday-Monday: Frankfurt Tuesday: Leipzig Wednesday: Berlin Thursday: Leipzig Friday: Dresden Saturday: Slept all day Sunday: USA vs. Czech Republic Monday-Tuesday: back to class Erin and I had a wonderful time last week. It's too bad she couldn't stay longer cause there was so much more I wanted to show her. Monday we got back to Leipzig around 7 or so, got cleaned up, went in search of food, and then went to Jon's so Erin could meet some of my friends. She made fun of me for my british accent that would appear when I would talk to Jon. Tuesday we had planned on going to Berlin but we were both pretty tired from traveling so we stayed in Leipzig and I showed her the sights. Of course it decided to storm. We're talking hail. We were up in the city tower when we saw it coming and decided it was a good time for lunch indoors. Of course we didn't make it there before the downpour. Luckily we made it under an awning. Poor Erin hadn't packed a jacket so she was freezing most of the day. Lucky for her that was the only chilly day. Wednesday night after we got back from Berlin we went to Moritzbastei. It was a good time. She got to meet some more of my friends. Of course not a whole lot of them were there because a lot of people went home for break. Thursday we were going to go to a concentration camp but again we were too tired and overslept. By the time we would have gotten there the museums would have been closed. So instead we did some more shopping and she got the souveniers that she had wanted to get the other day. Good times. Okay, I'm tired of typing for now. More to come later, including World Cup fun.
