Can somebody tell me where I got the crazy idea that I can speak enough German to get through normal classes???? I just got back from my philosophy class and I didn't really understand much. Now I'm really tired from trying to concentrate so hard. It's a lecture course so basically the professor stands at the front and reads the whole time. No books, just going to class and listening to lectures. Yikes! I tried to copy notes off of the girl next to me but I can't read European handwriting to save my life. This is going to be an interesting semester. I really need to take my philosophy class here too because otherwise I don't graduate in December. I just hope the next few classes gradually get better.
