The sky is much brighter when we finally wake up and the early morning sun picks out the colours of the trees around the square. When the time comes to leave it starts raining again and there a some showers for the first 40 minutes towards Rennes but after that the road dries out and se have an easy ride along the dual carriageway.
The fields are dark wet earth but a lot have the green 'five o'clock shadow' of stubbly winter crops just starting to grow. In all directions are the most wonderful displays of autumn trees at their best; gold and copper, bright yellows and the deep reds of beech and trees of heaven all making a kaleidoscope pattern across the gently rolling hills.
We see signs for Bedee and take a short detour into the village where there is a service point. After pausing for lunch we rejoin the dual carriageway all the way to Nozay where there is an aire beside the lake. Entering the aire we find the same elderly Hymer we left in Guingamp is here too.
We connect the electricity then Ali goes for a walk among the trees to kick some fallen leaves around. The lake has a watersport club with a cable operated water-ski system a bit like a high speed ski lift. An moving aerial cable pulls tag handles around a circuit at speed. Skiers or wake boarders grab a handle and are towed around the circuit, through slaloms and over jump-ramps.
Through late afternoon and early evening we have a few more showers.
Steak and chips for dinner followed by a peaceful evening with music of OUR choice.
