Decided this morning to stay another night here in Esperance and leave first thing tomorrow. This gives us time today to pack up our last belongings, fill out paperwork at the freight place and say thank you in person to the repairer who finally did write our report. So, finally we got news this morning (after spending hours on the phone again) that the report is in to the insurer and they are going to put in an urgent request for the assessor to assess our claim - they hoped this would happen later today or by tomorrow at the latest. Some good luck finally when we were called within an hour by the assessor who verbally confirmed they accept our claim and that they will pay us out and write the caravan off. We are thrilled ...

Not much to write about today as the car was at Ford the whole day. Lucky for Gadi they brought him back to where we are staying. We just relaxed today, reading and enjoying watching the antics of the chickens on this lovely property - and trying to come up with answers as to why chickens cross roads!
