Today we made preparation for the next leg to the Azores. After the anchor was raised, scrubbed and stowed, we made way over to the fuel dock and topped off the diesel and fresh water. Then we had to move to the customs dock and check out with them. By 1100 we were heading out the channel.

I had the 1400 to 1700 watch. There is not enough wind to sail so we have the engine on. Our strategy is to go north for a couple days to pick up some affect from the westerly trade winds and then head east. Right now the sea is like a big lake.
