Title: Sunday, Day 1 Ashore in Horta

I slept in this morning, which was wonderful, but I wanted to make sure I took advantage of the free breakfast. I really wasn't expecting much so I was really surprised when I walked in and saw one whole wall of this large dining room lined with all kinds of fruit, breads, jams, juices, coffee, cereal, and bacon and eggs.

I got a small table outside on the patio and could eat while over-looking the harbor.

The big order of business today was to go through my luggage and take out about 10 pounds of stuff that I either acquired or didn't need. Tomorrow I will find the post office and mail this stuff home.
