Today I pretty much camped out at the green building that has the Internet cafe. Very reliable connection. I spent all morning and part of the afternoon either updating my blog or checking the listings on Crewseekers. I submitted inquires on two ads that looked promising. One was a guy in the Canaries looking for crew to England. The other was a yacht on delivery to England from France. The delivery got right back to me and said they were crewed up. No word from the guy in the Canaries.
Tonight, I had dinner at Pete's and drank a few beers with Jim. We seem to hit it off pretty good and he actually knew the person that was looking for crew on the delivery. I guess he used to work for them. The yacht delivery business is a pretty small world and once you break in and get a few deliveries under your boat, you get all the work you can handle.
