Title: Day 3 Ashore

Today I took the bus to Hamilton, the capital of Bermuda. I needed to buy a new 12 volt charger for my iPod and as luck would have it, there was an Apple store right across the street from the bus stop. They had just what I was looking for.

So then I looked for an Internet cafe and found one called Juice & Beans. I ordered a cup of coffee and some coffee cake and settled in to check email and work on my blog photo albums. I ended up having lunch and an ice cream come as well.

I thought a ferry boat ride back would be a nice change so I headed toward the ferry dock. I just missed the ferry to St. George's and the next one wasn't for two hours so I decided to take the bus back instead.

Back in St. George's, I ran into Barry and we grabbed some dinner from the deli and ate in the town square. We had an immediate host of little canaries begging for food. I think they would have eaten out of my hand.

After dinner, we made our way to the mini yacht club and enjoyed the usual local conversation until it was time to go to go back to the boat.

Barry has decided to get under way for the Azores on Wednesday so tomorrow will be a prep day.
