Well this month is all about Finn and myself seeing as last month was all about Rich's accident, and on that note he is still in pain, but after a week off work went back on restricted duties, office bound, where he still is and having weekly physio appointments. it appears to be improving slowly.
well we finally decided that Nursing would be a better option in the long run so I had an interview for Murdoch University based here in Mandurah to undertake a 4 year Batchelor of Nursing degree. even have a uniform to wear. is a nice university not that i have anything to compare it too but is small and our campus only deals with nursing and midwifery so is qute personnal. is very high tec with great practical rooms. is all very exciting but also a little scared. I havent studied for 15 ++++++ years and have a 3 month old baby, who unfortunatly will occasionally be going into day care. Those of you who know me know how it was something I didnt really want for Finn but unfortunately have no alternative here. have had to buy my 1st semester of books $400 later plus my uniform plus my fees is all adding up to be quite expensive, but at least it is a career that i can take anywhere and there will always be a need for nurses even in an economic crisis, so i think i have made the right decission. The first few weeks have been very full on and a lot to take in.
Finn started kindy also beginning of this month. he was fine but his little friend was also in his class so i think it helped them both settle in quickly having each other there. Is a lovely school, with some nice aussie ways. please dont look at his shoes in the pictures. I know crocs are not that smart but they take their shoes of when they arrive at school and they remain outdoors so is only for getting to and from school. His 1st month seems to have been fine, ultimately as and when a place becomes available at a private school that we have his name on a list for we will move him there but for the moment this is very nice.
so wish us both luck,
