Rich attended a parents evening this week at Finns kindy school, an info session for the parents, I went with Finn the following day for a 2hr welcome for the children. Seems like a pretty nice school, is only a year old and so is still nice and new and clean.
I held my 1st stall this week at the foreshore markets - sold 3 lampshades which was great and a few cards, so a worthwhile day, however the foreshore becomes very blowy in the afternoons and it was tricky trying to stop my lampshades that were hanging from blowing...
Mum and Dad arrived this week, went and collected them from the airport and stopped on the way back down for a coffee in Freemantle. lovely to see them and for them to see Finn and meet Fraser.
Mandurah held is annual Christmas pajent this week, is like a basic carnival, instead of majoretes at he front there were 3 wise men on real camels !!!!
the floats were not like we would know in England but to be honest if they had lots of illuminations on them you wouldnt have seen it, although it was 6pm it was still hot and sunny !! we then had a picnic on the grass and waited for the 9pm fireworks, there was a stage nearby with live carols being sung, pleasant. followed by a great firework display that went on for about 20 mins, lots of boats in the water all illuminated up to watch the fireworks was a pretty sight.
Richards work social club had their Christmas party this week, at the stations sgt house, he has a big garden with a fab swimming pool in it. Finn had so much fun jumping in and out in and out.
