Finn was awarded his 1st tiger stripe at karate this week, he had to carry out an array of moves and punches infront of 6th dan sensai Jim Wood mbe, bless him he is the youngest in his group and just managed to keep up !!!!

took Mum and Dad to the local carols by candlelight it was in a really blustery location right on the water so was a bit cold but took some alcohol to keep us warm !!

Finn took his annual trip to see Father Christmas, he asked him for a cargo plane (lego one ) also saw rudolph, dont know if i mentioned it last year but their reindeers have moving tummys like they are breathing, is so sweet, and outside of Father Christmas's room is a great set up, there is a train and a christmas film showing, some other sit on rides and best of all it is all free, is really nicely done, just unfortunately we didnt go until the week before christmas and the schools had also broken up so there was a bit of a wait to see the big man, but after you promise and know your not going to have another chance to get back to the City before christmas then one just has to wait, thankfully Mum and Dad took Fraser for a walk !!!!

Richard had his first 'hard stop' on a vehicle this week, and had to get teh alleged offenders out of the car at gun point - how exciting !!!! wish I was there to have seen it - apparently all went well and no one was shot so that has to be a bonus !!

took our boat out on the port mandurah christmas lights canal cruise - all these beautiful houses set on the canals nearer Mandurah have some spectacular displays, and the canals are so busy with boats - is a great night.
