Mum and Dad set off back to UK early January after hopefully a lovely time.

weather is still beautiful and well into the midst of summer.

I am due to start my dental nursing course beginning of next month and Finn is also starting Kindy so lots to get organised. A neighbour of ours who is a nurse has put a fly in the ointment re the dental nursing course and suggested that I would be better of qualifying as a RN - registered nurse, ultimately it is a better career. so got a lot to think about and try and decide at this late hour.

Fraser still doing well, his little face lights up when he see's Finn, it is lovely to see them together.

Australia Day (end of January) saw a barbie on the foreshore with friends and then the next day a barbie at our friends house, good food, alcohol and a swimming pool didnt mix too well with Rich. After copius amounts of alcohol he and his friends thought it would be fun to have competitions in the pool ...... mmmm i actually said 'This will end in tears'. and for Richard it did just that. It was suggested that a dive into the pool with his hands behind his back would be great !!!!!!!!! unfortunately his head hit the bottom of the pool where his hands should have done. Cutt a long story short he was in a bit of pain but think the alcohol helped on that part. The following day he could barely move so a trip to Emergency Dept was required. After numerous scans and x rays etc he had suffered muscular damage, but was increadibly lucky and was told that the alcohol probably saved his life as it allowed him to bend a bit more on impact...... I of course advised that if it wasnt for the alcohol probably none of his would have happened !!!!!
