Have figured out that if i want to succeed in a good career out here then i need to re-train in something completely new - so i applied and was taken forward for an interview. this is for a training course to become a dental course !!! it starts in Feb 2009 and has a limited number of places on the Mandurah course of 12, 6 have already been accepted. !!

Had to travel to Perth for the interview which went well considering how nervous i was. The course at Mandurah is 2 days a week and 1 day in a practice, term time only and school hours which will fit in with Finn who will be starting Kindergarten in Feb. By dec 2009 I will be qualified to work as a dental nurse in a varietyof places, a dental practice, school dentist, in the theatre at the local hospital and so on, or i can do further training to become envolved in practice management, training or eventually dentistry !!!!

good news is i have been accepted onto the course and am very excited as i now have a plan of where i am going. it is also a pretty well paid career even as a dental nurse with plenty of vacancies !!
