Finn is continuing to enjoy and progress in his karate, he speaks to 5 in japanese and knows 5 or 6 jap terms ! Rich and I are starting to feel a little uneducated.

Broke up this week from swimming, certificate number 3 and a move up to the next class afer a 2 week break. He loves his swimming and appears to have a great deal of self confidence around the water.

Dolphins were in again this week, thankfully Richard was here this time to see them.

Finns playgroup leader is moving interstate, we went to her garage sale (our first one) and bought 2 canoes, they are about the same age as Richard (which is very old) and I havent seen him since, he's equipped himself with fibreglass matting, resin, sander, primer and a colour chart in the garage where he is sanding them down to make them as good as new ! It is a nice little project for him and Finn to do together with hopefuly quite a reasonable time scale.

Did our first attempt at end of year tax return, although end of year here is 31 june you have until end of october to submit them. It is a compulsary requirement here, well it is if you want some money back. Took us 3 hours on line but was actually quite good fun and well worth it to add towards our flights to England fund ! It is an amazing system, money was cleared in our account within 2 days !
