Joanna and I were planning on going to Kawana Waters beach because we haven't seen it yet and have heard it is pretty. We never made it because she had to do something with Kat in the morning and took into the afternoon before she was back. I had to be around between 3:30-4:00 so the fishing company could call and let us know if we could fish in the morning. Richard stopped by so we sat in the pavilion and walked around talking for a while. I gave them Richard's mobile number in case my phone didn't work which was good because we were outside when they called. There are supposed to be strong winds tomorrow so they cancelled the trip. We were very disappointed, hopefully we will get a chance to do it before we leave. We wondered around some more until he left to eat dinner. Kate and I walked to the shops to get a few things and then decided to meet later before going to the Tavern. It is Martin's last night so we were going to hang out with him and Shane again but they went over to their mate Don's apartment in Varsity and we had no way of getting there. I went to Bettina's apartment instead where I met Mathilda, Emalene and her French mate. There were heaps of people waiting for the bus when we got there just before 10pm when usually not many people are there before 10. We had to wait in line forever but finally made it on a bus and to the Tavern. It was fairly packed already but it was heaps of fun. It was very bittersweet at the same time. It would be the last Tavern night for heaps of people, which made it sad. I kind of had to say good-bye to most of my European mates because I didn't know if I would see them again. I knew Linda was leaving on Monday but not sure when the rest of them are leaving. We all tried to focus on dancing and having heaps of fun instead of the reality that we might not see each other again. Most of us stayed until they kicked us out at 2am. We weren't ready to go to bed yet so Shane, Norbert and I were going to go over to Varsity where Martin was but the security guard caught us and told us we had to leave. We headed to my place but a few people got distracted in the process and we ended up at Shane's. I went to bed just before 5am and not long after Martin came knocking at my door because he had lost his keys. I knew where they were so I had to help him find them and he insisted that I go back to his place to have tea. I wanted to go to bed but knew it was his last night so we stayed up talking until it was time for him to leave at 10am.
