Life in Oz!
It is May already! That is crazy, time is flying by. It is Labour Day here so we don't have Uni! Yay. Matilda and I took advantage of it and made an awesome pancake breakfast with nutella on the pancakes, yuuuummmy! Since it's a public holiday the library is closed so I can't go there to do research, I could go to a computer lab but that sounds like work. I putzed around here for a while and then spent most of the afternoon looking up airfares for Sydney. They weren't quite as cheap as what Joanna, Kate and Fallon bought them for but they weren't too much higher. I hadn't decided yet but I joined them at Kate's to discuss what we would be doing. Brendan from Wyoming came too even though he was still deciding as well. It sounded like too much fun to skip, we have a lot of things we want to do and see so I decided to go for it. It will probably be my only chance to travel with them. Brendan decided to book his tickets as well. We couldn't get on the same flight there as the girls but we will be leaving an hour earlier so we will just wait at the airport for them. We will be departing the Sunshine Coast (we have a small airport) Friday morning and returning later Monday night. After I got my tickets booked for Sydney, I started looking at my options for Jakarta, Indonesia. I would love to go visit an Indonesian friend while I am here since I'm so close. I checked the embassy website and there is a travel warning for Indonesia and there have also been cases of the bird flu but if I'm going to die young it will be because I was doing something fun, like touring Indonesia or skydiving, not because of a car accident or something stupid.
