Life in Oz!
They got the miners out! I'm sure you have all heard the story about the miners that have been trapped underground in Tasmania for a fortnight now. That's all we have heard about on the news and it was the first thing I saw on the tellie when I turned it on when I ate breakfast. We started doing presentations of our walking sites booklets in class today so the time went fairly quickly. I haven't had a chance to work on mine since I went to Buderim a few weeks ago but am planning on going to the Nambour Library to find some books and pictures of Buderim. After class I went to the library! I know, it's very exciting but I spent most of my time looking up things to do in Sydney. I'm really excited bout the trip but the highs are only 22-24 (71-75), not exactly the warmest, and lows are around 13 (55!), I'm not looking forward to that at all! Yes, I know, I'm spoiled. I searched to see if Nambour Library had a website and they did with the rest of the Maroochy Shire ones so I was able to search for books about Buderim to make sure my trip would be worthless with nothing found. I left the library about 5 and ran into Richard, Bec and Kristy by the Brasserie. I ended up talking to Richard for a while before heading back to my apartment to make dinner. By then it was almost time for Big Brother so obviously Emma and I had to watch it.
Update on the posts...Duane is 'technically' in the lead but I haven't decided if his last posts are to be counted or not. That leaves Lisa almost in the lead by one over Auntie Mary, but with a questionable post as well, so I consider them tied.
