Three hours of politics is seriously not fun. I did manage to stay awake for the most part though. I think I'm starting to understand how the Australian government works too, it too a French guy in my tutorial to explain it to me but it doesn't matter because I'm starting to figure it out. Australian Tim has class in the same lecture theatre as me right after so I saw him as I was leaving and talked to him for a few minutes. I then came back and had lunch, did a few things and then had to head to my Community Work class. I walked back from class with my group-mate Richard again and showed him where NDSU Tim and Andy's roommate Kristy lives because he knew her from a class they took together. Sara, Cajsa, Martin and Shane were in the pool so I went back and talked to them for a little bit. They said they were going to BBQ at 6 so I went back to my apartment and got ready for that. We all hung out until it was time to catch the bus for the Tavern at 10:30. It was packed like usual but was a lot of fun. On the bus back from the Tavern I was sitting with Martin and he was talking German to Andy, who is from Austria. He introduced us and we were all speaking German...or at least they were and I was trying to follow along and speak as well. The 3 of us went back to my apartment and talked for a while. Emma was still up so she joined us but we were confusing her by talking a lot in German. I got a lot of practice speaking German because we all talked until about 5:30.
