A nice scenic drive across land brought us to Nelson City. We had a bad start here as Lynz noticed a crack on the windscreen of our car, when we looked at it we realised a small stone had hit the window and developed a crack. Great stuff! After ringing the rental company we took the car to a autoscreen garage who sorted it out within a hour. Luckily for us we had insurance that covered the windscreen, so we never touched the wallet once. We are camping at another hostel, but this one is really nice with a swimming pool and it even has its own "cinema." Well they call it a cinema, but its more like a large TV in a room with a few chairs, Lynz is happy though as she gets to watch some films! On Saturday we headed down to the well known Nelson market, which is a bit different to the Redcar market. (Not like we've ever been!) Even though we were only walking round and having a look, Lynz still managed to spend some money on some girly facial stuff! Nelsons main attraction is probably the Abel Tasman National Park, which is close by. Here you can go on walks and hikes, but as we are just relaxing we went to the pub instead! Last night was such a good night, we went to see a band at this pub where we got good backpacker deals on drinks, (it was almost as good as Aruba's pound a pint deal, but lets be honest nothing will beat Aruba!! haha) so you can imagine how drunk we got. We've even had to stay here in Nelson for another night just to spend today recovering! It worked out well for Lee that we did stay as he got to watch the Boro match. (It wasn't good getting beat mind!) Heading to Westport on the west coast tomorrow to continue the roadtrip!
