Time to move on to the next place again. We are getting experts at the camping life now. Next on the road trip was Tauranga about 45 minutes away from Waihi. We had a campsite in mind and headed straight there. It was a gorgeous day, the warmest so far at around 27c, its nice having the summer weather. After our usual routine of putting up the tent, we headed out to explore. We needed to drive into the main town as our campsite was around 4km's away. As it was a Saturday we had trouble finding a car space, something we hadn't encounted so far as other towns were much quieter. We spent a nice afternoon here looking round the shops and walking along the waterfront and watching a Scottish dancing show, just enjoying the sunshine and keeping our tans topped up. We had a prime spot for camping right next to a lake so we took full advantage and spent some time relaxing and watching the sunset there. We are both so relaxed here and just enjoying chilling our and exploring all that New Zealand has to offer.
