We started our trip to Greymouth with similar weather to that in Westport and we were starting to get worried about how the tent would stand the rain, but luckily for us by the time we had arrived the sun was out. For the two days we spent here it has been boiling so we can't complain having only one day of rain! We're back staying at holiday parks again which is nice and were staying at a top ten park, which are considered the best in New Zealand. The facilities are really good and well worth paying the extra money for. As we had two days here we didn't rush around. We did our usual tour of the town, but there wasn't much to see, we just enjoyed the nice weather. Today we had a lovely Valentines day picnic at the campsite then treated ourselves to a spa. Don't think either of us have had as many spa's as we have on this trip!! We wanted to go out for a meal and as we are on a budget we were chuffed to find a $5 all you can eat bbq. To be honest it wasn't the classiest of places or most extravagent food but we enjoyed it and it filled us up. We ended our night with a few drinks and watched Lost, pretty much luxury to us. Off to the Glaciers tomorrow, so lets hope the sunshine continues!
