Day 64, 65. Into the 10th week, we drove down through Norseman and onto the Nullarbor. Using Camps6 again, we chose Fraser Range Station, as it as power and water, hard to find in the next couple of days. It is getting cold at night and especially in the mornings, so it is nice to be able to use the heater. The Station is a gem as well. Very well maintained and quite picturesque. It has one of the tees of the Nullarbour Golf Course. We have to watch Elle as there is baiting in the area and apparently, the birds can bring them onto the campground. RM fixed an electrical fault in the afternoon. Had a drink round the roaring campfire and watched the sunset.
Next day was a long drive (for us) across the Nullarbor to Mundrabilla, a roadhouse on the Eyre Highway just short of Eucla. We had some rain and saw the most beautiful rainbow. Had to cook up a lot of vegetables before crossing into SA and the microwave seems to have broken down. The roadhouse is a swap meet for road trains across the Nullabor.
