Up early to catch our tour bus to the Tully river to go White water rafting. The fast flowing aqua river looked very cold but that was the least of our worries as the rapids loomed upon us!
The rapids were a grade 4 which is a good, fun size; one of the guys fell out but we all managed to keep upright.
We saw some Blue Ulysses butterflies, lots of spectacular jungle and lots of other rafters fall overboard.
Lunch was on the side of the river next to a beautiful tall waterfall, tasty BBQ meat and salads with tea, coffee and biscuits.
The total rafting trek was over 10km of the Tully river but we could easily have kept going as it was ace fun!
When we returned home we were exhausted and fell soundly asleep.
Highlight today: Zig Zag rock & the white tower of death (two big, crazy rapids we went down).
