Cycled to the main beach where the cycle/run triathalon was on(160km) so some streets were blocked and we rode next to some of the competitors.....ok so maybe not next to them as they passed us really fast! Had a picnic on the beach and read our books. Watched MasterChef and ate Magnum Ego's for the evening. Highlight: cycling around town.

Another lazy day in bed reading while the rain pelts down outside. Did have a small burst of energy mid morning and put my carpentry skills to use - made a wine glass rack and a cupboard prop. Went for a drive in the afternoon in search of scones, settled for dumplings at tea time instead. Kevin Rudd went to Noosa state high school. Highlight today: throwing a big spitball over the toilet cubicles and hitting Mel in the head!

Highlight today: the awesome chicken burger I made for lunch!

Had a few glasses of wine and soda in the evening whilst having a play off (ping pong), then made our way back to the van to finish off the wine. Highlight today: ping pong...maybe an addiction happening here!...
Poured rain again last night and today looks overcast. Hung out at caravan park for the morning. After lunch we went in town and checked out 4wd options at Paradise Beach. I am a bit hesitant about 4wd on the beach as I am concerned about the salt water effect on my car and getting stuck in the sand (because it is our only form of transport). At the Information center we read an article about 4wds getting bogged and then washed out onto the rocks. They had seve...
