Woken abruptly this morning by screams for help from a guy drowning in the beach. Two surfers went to his aid and managed to calm him and bring him back to shore.
Cooked Mel chocolate pancakes and eggs for breakfast...
Visited a French Nougart company run by a Transelvanian Count and Countess.
Nougat is made from honey, sugar, eggwhite and whipped; then spread on 'communion paper' where it is shaped, left to firm and then sliced. The French Nougat is soft and chewy, not hard and brittle. Delicious!
Continued on to Eumundie for the Australian Body Art Festival (held on Sat & Sun) which will showcase Airbrushed body art, footpath art and car bonnet art, as well as hosting the famous Eumundie markets.
Walked the boutique shops and visited a chocolatier (of course we couldn't leave without some samples)...
Camping in a reserve near the M1 tonight but it will be worth it just to see the body art festival tomorrow!
Highlight today: eating delicate, sweet chocolates.
