Woke to the sounds of pouring rain so we drank coffee and read for the morning- which was perfect after our party last night. In the afternoon we did some laundry and went op shopping. After the fifth op shop, we were sick of the old, stale musty smell and couldn't do anymore. Bought a 1/2 beef rump (Aldi $7.99kg Bargain!) and carved up some nice thick steaks then went and had a awesome BBQ for dinner. Highlight today: op shopping!

Up early with the crowds that came to the beach from 6.30 onwards (no joke!). Waited for the famous Caloundra markets but they forgot to show up (probably because of mothers day). Went for a drive on the M1 and visited the Ettamogah Pub (aboriginal word for 'peoples drinking hole' also famous for cartoon by Murray someone) then headed to Wombye to the big pineapple which was closed. Browsed the shops in quaint Mapleton then decided to drive back to the beach ...
