Where' the hell is Jen & Mel?
While Mel went for her third job interview, I went down to The Coffee Club on the esplanade and read the paper!
Drove to the Daintree Village and went on a river tour. Very cruisy and spotted Water Dragons, King Fishers and Crocodiles.
Because most crocs are submerged when spotted, the best way to judge their size is to look at their head and x it by 7.
Saltwater crocodiles live in rivers and in the sea (they have special gills to process the salt in the water) and usually have bigger, thicker necks/ snouts.
Crocodiles can lay up to 60 eggs per year but only a small percentage actually survive, we were lucky today and saw the cutest baby crocodile sunning itself on a branch!
Highlight today: Daintree river cruise
