Today we all woke up feeling fairly ok especially considering what a big night it was. We were chatting in the dorm and I mentioned I wished there was a water park or a swimming pool nearby. Turns out there is both! The boys headed to the waterpark but kate, becky and I fancied a day sunning and lounging by the pool. We packed a bag, grabbed towels from reception and headed to a hotel about 15 minutes away in a cab. We were seriously hungry so munched on fried potatoes and sausages first of all. Not the best food but it's nice to indulge now and again. I've lost so much weight over here that I also rarely feel guilty about the occasional binge! I also couldn't believe the view around me. The pool was overlooking the lake which is surrounded by palm trees and the most amazing view of Hanoi. Us girls were in heaven!
We swam for a while and lounged however the water was pretty cold! We stayed there to about 6 and then got a cab back to the hostel. Becky and I left and got some Vietnamese food for dinner, it was needed especially after a couple of days of eating western crap! We had another night chilling in the dorm and Anita introduced us to her friend Michael who she met years ago and is travelling in Hanoi. Becky and I had to get up at 7 am the next day for ha long bay so lights out by 11 and sleep time!
