Today I had to catch the overnight bus back to Hanoi which I was super excited about as I would be seeing becky soon!! Luca, flo and darius headed to deenos diner for some breakfast. I had a chicken and salad panini and then ordered a sandwhich for the bus ride! We chilled for an hour and I was actually quite Sad because I would be saying bye to flo. I really clicked with her and we both have plans to meet up in the future! Darius was getting my bus too which kind of irritated me because he is so socially inept the thought of a 17 hour journey was too much to handle. On one night out he took the air freshner from the toilet and set it on the table and thought it was the most hysterical thing ever. What a numpty! I was even considering popping my diazepams but I have to keep them for when I get the plane to see uncle lee!

I headed to the tavel agent and got the bus to hue, which was four hours away. During the bus journey I noticed the bus slowing down and everyone getting up to look at something. Obviously I followed suit and really regret it. A man had been knocked off his moped and was in the process of being covered with a white sheet. It was one of the most horrible things I have ever seen. I thought I was going to be sick and even shed a tear. Bikes in Vietnam are such a fun experience however seeing that man reinforced how dangerous it is.

After the shock of the incident I tried my best to distract myself and listened to some Dave Matthews, then some Coldplay and Ben Howard! We reached the second bus and threw our bags into the boot and got on. The three westerners were shoved to the crappy back seats with no air conditioner. As they are sleeper buses you lie down mostly, and are sandwiched between two people! Darius was on one side, and an American girl was between us. I started to wish she wasn't! I had just met her and she started telling me about her breakup with her boyfriend that 'like sucked so much'. Two hours later and i can now tell you were Gavin grew up, his favourite colour and his thoughts on Every topic imaginable. After four hours I pretended to fall asleep. Goodnight!
