Placement was fine today and rather luckily no children were hit! Always a plus! I realised me and foo were hanging out too much so I tried to incorporate the other kids too, but no one is as cool as wee foo. After placement we headed for lunch in a place called f10. They do an amazing dish with rice noodles, lettuce, pork and This sweet type of bread that you dip in and let it soak up all the flavour. Tasty! And only 40,000 dong so around 1 dollar 20. It's so much easier to use the dollar as 1 dollar translates to 20,000 dong. Easy. We then headed back to the apartment and tried to have mass clean up but I was nearly sick at the place. The living conditions are so gross! Not that I was expecting much, but the ants on the bed freaks me right out :(
After chilling I met up with my gang which consisted of Aiden, mark, Anita, anteous (sp), Anton (ugh), mark, chris, josh, Ruth and Tom. Some new faces checked in so we got chatting and made them feel welcome. We played a few games of cards and talked general crap for hours! I retired early for my early placement start. Grim! Moped home :)
