Hi! SUMMER IS HERE!!!!! It is so hot already, and apparently this is nothing compared to what it will be in the next couple of months. My tan is coming along nicely tho ;) Finally made it to Philadelphia the weekend before last. We went for the day on Saturday. Had really nice weather for it which was nice. We went on a duck tour called 'Ride the Duck' (!). It is a tour bus, which turns into a boat and goes down the river a bit, then back onto the roads! Haha, of course I got excited by that! You also get given little quackers to blow on as you ride through the streets of Philli! Very childish, but a bit of fun! Then we walked around the city during he afternoon, had lunch - a Philli Cheeseteak! Mmmmm! They are gorgeous! Last weekend we went to Boston and stayed a couple of nights. Had a fab time. Weather was gorgeous! Went up to Harvard, which I completely fell in love with! It is amazing there. Then the Sunday we walked around Boston city itself, went to the Cheers bar again and had a drink. Walked around Boston Common, then up an area i can't remember the name of! haha. But it had quiet little streets full of cafes and shops. really nice area. That night we went to a bar, which turned out to be one of the oldest bars in Boston. They had a live Rock Band playing covers which was great! Unfortunately I became witness to a big brawl outside which resulted in police and ambulances... ! I got outside about a minute before it started, watched it all, then went back inside when the police got there :) ! I am being bitten by some NY mosquitos - they're fierce compared to their England counterparts, but they don't bite like the Trinidad ones! Ange is here next week which i can't wait for! I only have her for a day but we will make the most of it! hopefully this weather will hold out for her too. It's really hot, but very humid and muggy with it. It's not very pleasant in the city centre itself, as there is so much pollution etc, but outside of the city it's gorgeous! Anyway my friends - till next time! Your NY Girl! xxx
