Hello! My first entry that I know you've all been sitting and waiting for! haha. I'm at my new work place called 'The Well' which is situated on 5th Avenue! The office is amazing, very big and spacious, more like a penthouse apartment than somewhere to work really! I've already set the word around the staff that I like table-tennis (ping pong sorry, must get the lingo!)...so I feel some competitions coming on! Did I mention we have a ping-pong table in the office? :) and a pool table too! I've also reminded them that I'd love to get more involved with the edits themselves instead of just covering the desk etc, they said they do have plans to get me actually editing!! I'm very excited about that! The staff are great. This morning I had a HUGE fall on my emotion-rollercoaster and spent hours crying! Oops, bit early for that to happen. Maybe it's out of the way now though?! Ha, I doubt it, lots more of that to come I'm sure. Manhattan is as amazing as ever, even with the homesickness. The hotel I'm staying in till Sun (when I move into the apartment) is in midtown-Manhattan, so on my walk back from work I have a gorgeous view of the lighted Empire State Building. I haven't been here even a week yet but I've had so many challenges already to deal with, with all the adjusting and adapting to do. If I manage to get through this year it will be an amazing feat (at the moment I'm just working on getting through each day...!). It's an upheaval like you can't imagine unless you actually do it. It's gonna be a tough and challenging year, but I will keep you filled in on all of it (however long I last!). Will hopefully have some pictures for you soon. Weather colder than the UK but not too bad still...yet. Those of you who know me well will be amazed to know that I haven't yet been to Central Park or even been shopping!!!!!! I feel a bit distressed just writing that! Tomorrow is Saturday though so we'll put it all right! I have access to this at work so I should be posting entries regularly. Hopefully in a few weeks/months you'll be glued to my news!! Take care everyone Tre xxx
