We have been assigned dish duty each night for the rest of our stay. My team consists of Gen, Joy, and myself--- commonly known as team scrub a dub. We made up a song and everything (My name is Nora and you know what I got (what do you got) I got a team thats hotter than hot (how hot is hot) scrubbin dishes and drying them too (uh huh uh huh) were gonna beat the cleaning whoopsy out of you (alright ok) ))) Thank you gradeschool softball :)
Each day, I fall in love with the children even more! They are full of smiles and are always jumping for the chance to hold our hands, stand next to us, or speak to us. The name for white people in Africa is Mzungu. The little pre-schoolers have learned this word and will just sit there and scream it so I just yell Mzungu right back at them. They laugh and repeat, laugh and repeat. My teaching has been paying off as I watch the students write full words on the chalkboard during their free time. It is one of the best feelings when they say "Teacher, teacher look!" and on the board is a perfectly spelled word.
Tomorrow is an all school mass that will be held in the Nursery Top classroom. It will be mighty interesting to see how we fit all of the students in ONE classroom. At 3:00 we head to Fort Portal to spend two nights and then we will head to Queen Elizabeth Park. We will be going on a boat safari cruise during the day Sunday, spending the night, and doing a land safari on Monday. We will be staying at a great hotel with one of the sisters with a swimming pool, lake, sauna, and hot tub. wowzerrs. The nursing professor arrived today and she will be accompanying us this weekend. We are hoping to go hiking in the Rwenzori Mountains on Saturday in Fort Portal!!
Fun fact-- I LIKE to read. We have so much downtime at night for reading that I have become a reader. Aren't you all so proud?! I will need suggestions when I get back of the popular books!
Until next time XOXOX and thanks for reading!

Mimi So happy to hear from you since I have been wondering how you are doing. I heard you spent the day in London on your way to Uganda. That must have been fun to see! Currently, MP is here with me at CBV and she is reading your notes to me. It sounds like you are having some fun and interesting days. Look forward to more notes from you. Xoxo Mimi
