We are getting picked up at 11:30 and heading to the airport in Entebbe for our 10:55 pm flight to Brussels. Then we go Brussels to Toronto and Toronto to Chicago. I will be home at 6:15pm on Sunday! Pray for safe and smooth travels!

Today was a day that I will never forget-- our last day at Moreau Primary and Nursey School, quite possibly forever. At 11:30 the students would be singing the songs that we taught them. Nursery classes and P1 would be singing Our God is an Awesome God and Shake Shake the Mango Tree! Today was our last day with the older students. We were teaching them three songs to sing for their "puppet show" on Friday. Since it is our last day, we wanted the older students to sing for the teachers and younger students and the younger students to sing for the teachers and older students. We decided to have the older kids (P2, P3, and P4) sing Waka Waka, Hakuna Matata, and In the Jungle. They did a great job learning all three of these songs with very litt...

Today was the fourth of July and we were not going to let the distance interfere with a celebration. We had hamburgers, hot dogs, sausages, potato salad, pasta salad, and fruit for dinner. We invited Greg and Becky over and they brought a delicious chocolate cake. For our prayer, we sang the Star Spangled Banner. After dinner, we played some America trivia-- I was the 1st place winner with the prize of fruit snacks :)

It was very nice to stay in Kyarusozi and relax this weekend! We were able to catch up on some sleep and lounge around. Yesterday, we went to 10:30 church with all of our kiddies. I held Robert (7 month old baby) the whole entire mass. When my arm started hurting, I realized that this is what it will feel like to be a mother. He fell asleep on me for about 45 minutes and was the cutest thing in the world. I can tell that he knows who I am because his face lights ...
