We finalllly made it. However, our trip took a quick turn as soon as we hit the gate at O'Hare. A three hour delay that could leave us running to catch the rest of our flights. Unfortunately, we did not leave Chicago to Toronto until after the estimated time. Then, we sprinted from our gate to reach the gate for our plane to Brussels. But we had to go get our bags from the bag check and bring them to the gate. Game changer!! We missed the flight and were forced into lines to reschedule our flights. After two hours and the help of Sandra (our hero of the weekend), we had a flight booked to London a couple hours later with a 12 hour layover in London and then a flight to Entebbe. Everything always works out. We got to see London, I mean come on, that was an experience in itself. We ventured onto the Heathrow Connect to Paddington and dined at a nearby Pub and walked around. 12 hours later, we landed in Entebbe, Africa with the police officers guarding the corners of the airport with their large guns. Shortly after, we arrived at the Central Inn and were greeted by Professor Miguda to begin our class. We were able to catch up on some sleep and have some food before we started. It was great to finally be in Uganda and all the traveling seemed worth it. The land is beautiful and the grass is sooo green! I can't stop taking pictures :) Tomorow we have the rest of our class and are hopefully taking a bus tour around Entebbe!
