Video Games With The Abuegs
Remember when I mentioned about us going to a resturaunt called La Esquina with the Abuegs for one of the Abueg children's birthday? Mom met the the mom of the Abuegs on a worldschooling facebook page she is on. Anyway, at the end of the month of November we decided to invite Maya (age 10), Ashton (age 8), and Ollie (age 5) to our house for a few hours so that we could all play video games together. So, the Abueg dad came over with the kids and we all played video games. We taught each other cool things and stuff about the video games we played. 'Twas fun, me and Maya built stuff in Minecraft while the boys did whatever they were doing. I can't tell you what they were doing because of course I wasn't spying on them. Levi asked Maya to do some stuff on his tablet for him but that's just about it.
The First Night Market
The first night market was that Thursday, so we finished up our video games, then walked over to the store. The Abueg's needed some groceries. The night market had a ton of stands selling dinner, baked goods, and a lot of jewelry. Me and Maya got permission from the adults to walk around wherever we pleased in the night market as long as we stuck together. I loved the night market, it was a shame we had to leave the next day. Ashton, Ollie, and my two younger brothers played together in the little grass plot next to the night market. On the grass area, there were two tall poles with a third pole in the middle, it was like a really tall H. The boys would climb up that and sit on it with a ton of other kids. While the boys were doing their climbing excercises, me and Maya were looking at jewelry and sweet treats. Next to the night market there was a grassy hill, the boys also enjoyed playing at that hill where they got awfully dirty. Maya was great at getting deals on everything, so while me and her listened to the extremely loud live music we got great deals on everything. I didn't have any money, but she did. I forget if she bought anything with her Colones (the Costa Rican currency). The night market really sold everything, I enjoyed it so much! At the night market, I learned that I would love to stay in Tamarindo for another year (as long as everybody I know would come visit at least once).
