Tamarindo Church hosts Thanksgiving every year, and this year we would be attending it. We took a taxi to get to church. When we got there we said hi to people we knew, then went to find seats. At our table there were cute napkins with orange and brown leaves on them. When everybody was seated, it was time to start dinner, I ate lots of turkey. When dinner was over it was time for dessert! had a slice of the pie I made with mom, a pack of oreos, and chocolate cake, I was sugared up! In the children's church room some of the kids were playing soccer and some of the kids were just sitting down in chairs, my brothers of course were enjoying soccer. I wasn't interested in the childrens room at that second, so I sat down at our table and chatted. After a couple of conversations a lady went up to do some games for fun. A funny thing was that the lady didn't tell the volunteers what they were doing until they volunteered. The first game was a bubble gum blowing contest, one of the volunteers didn't even know how to blow bubbles! When it was over, the two people in it were covered in bubble gum, they had to put like five pieces in their mouth at the same time. The second game was a funny one. This game involved two kids, the game went like this: they had to put a large shirt over their small shirt, then they had to keep blowing balloons and stuffing them into their large shirt, and whoever got the biggest amount of balloons in their shirt won. After that, all the kids got to have a balloon or two, there was balloons everywhere. I had an amazing Thanksgiving! Thank you Tamarindo Church.
